Home help with Firstpoint Homecare focuses on the support that is available on a more casual basis, allowing you or your loved one to retain as much independence as possible. Whether its support with housekeeping duties, companionship or assistance with personal care, the flexibility of our packages allow you to tailor to your needs. Home help can be anything from 1 hour per week through to live-in care.
Everyday tasks can often be tiring and strenuous and whatever the size of your home, housekeeping can be a challenge. We are here to support with those tasks. Whether it’s hoovering, dusting, feeding pets, washing, ironing, taking the bins out, running errands or any other tasks you need help with, we will ensure you live within a clean and tidy environment, as this is crucial for health and wellbeing. Home help will ease the pressure on you, allowing you to maintain the energy to do the things you enjoy.

These can include bathing, showering, hair washing, dressing, applying make-up, toileting, skin care, bed changing. Our carers are each trained to a high-standard to maintain dignity and comfort throughout.
Due to the personal nature of all of the care we provide, we will get to know you as a person and schedule your care around you; whether it’s the beauty products you like to use or the times in which you want to shower and get dressed, we will support you to live the way you want.
We are here to help you decide on the best care for you or a loved one. People often perceive home care options to be a bigger financial investment than care home costs, however due to the flexibility and the bespoke options available, home care is often more cost-effective.
